Happy Birthday, Christine!

Recently, Micah reminded me that I’m terrible about remembering birthdays, which is a shame because Jeff was wonderful at remembering the birthdays of pretty much everyone on his fifty-plus email list in the original SOD. So far, I’ve missed Virginia and Josiah’s birthdays as well as my own. I mean, I remembered them, but not on Song of the Day. So, if you can help me out, feel free to message me, either in the comments or in the request form, tell me your birthday and any requests you’ve got for it, or let me know of someone else’s and I’ll do my best to do our brother Jeff proud.

Christine, one of the wonderful Friends of the West Pittston Library where I used to be the director, has asked me to play something by the Trans Siberian Orchestra. She is sitting just two seats to my left in that photo up there. I miss Christine and (I confess) the lunches at Agalino’s!

We’ll get back to our duet features tomorrow, but for now, let’s jump back fourteen years to this version of “Christmas Canon.” I love this arrangement, and can’t help but think, wouldn’t it be cool to do a where-are-they-now reunion of these kids singing all grown up now?

Happy birthday, Christine! Thanks for commenting, sharing, liking and helping to support Jeff’s Song of the Day! And may your Christmas be a marvelous one too.
